GK
Kevin Galván, known as GK, was born on August 19, 1992, in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.
In May 2022, he took a major step by signing as a producer with Hear This Music, the label founded by DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, who are responsible for Bad Bunny's success.
Then, in August 2023, GK achieved a significant milestone by joining as a professor at Berklee College of Music. This success not only recognized his expertise in music but also allowed him to share his passion and knowledge with future generations of artists and producers.
After 16 years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, GK finally fulfilled his dream of collaborating with DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, and Santo Niño. After signing with the record label, he surprised the world with two notable hits: "S.Q.LO" by Nesi featuring Jowell and Randy, and "Mayor que Usted" by Natti Natasha, Wisin y Yandel, and Daddy Yankee, the latter reaching number 1 on the Billboard Latin chart and earning him the title of Platinum Producer.
Although his success may seem unexpected, GK's story is different. He began producing music at 14 and became one of the first producers to share tutorials on YouTube, quickly accumulating millions of views and followers. By the age of 20, he opened his first commercial recording studio, making music his full-time focus.
The most significant challenge of his career came in 2020, during the pandemic. Along with his friend and collaborator, Cv33, they accepted Gary Vee's challenge to create an original song every day for a year. Starting from February 1, 2021, without exception, they worked on a new song daily, demonstrating impressive discipline, sacrifice, and determination, in addition to their undeniable talent. The result was the creation of 366 original songs, an achievement that left a mark on their careers.
